This website presents a one-person practice working in independent online transcription of handwritten family papers: letters, diaries, recipe notebooks and postcards, read from scans and typed out faithfully as plain documents. The material here — text, illustrations and service descriptions — is informational. It is not an offer, a booking or a contract.

3. Illustrative material

Where this site uses illustrations, they represent the type of work we do and are not photographs of specific items we hold in stock. Availability, specification and price change, and are confirmed only when we quote them to you in writing.

Writing to us opens an enquiry; it does not reserve, book or buy anything, and no payment passes through this site. Whatever is agreed later is agreed in writing.
